Suspect in Chelsea shooting pleads not guilty

CHELSEA, Mass. — A man charged with a fatal weekend shooting in Chelsea is held without bail after pleading not guilty to a murder charge.

Prosecutors say 36-year-old Hector Enamorado of Chelsea was arraigned Wednesday in connection with the shooting death of 29-year-old Javier Ortiz just after 3 a.m. Sunday. Enamorado also pleaded not guilty to armed assault with intent to murder a 34-year-old man who was shot and wounded in the same incident.
